Parents Watching

Please note, all Parents Watching dates in March are now cancelled.
Parents have four opportunities per year to watch their children. Each class has two allocated days within the year where parents are able to watch their child in training. Along with two opportunities to watch the skills their child has learnt, the first during Heathrow's Club Championships (June-July), and the second during our annual Christmas Display.

Arrangements for parents to watch their child's class in training are made at pre-planned days and times. For further information, including class watching dates and times, please see our 'Watching Dates' guide, this can be found using the button below.
Please note, children under the age of 11 are not permitted.

Notice to parents

Heathrow Gymnastics Club would like to make clear that children under the age of 11 are not permitted to watch, join or attend any training watch days. We sincerely regret the need for this decision, however due to past issues, in order to ensure the safety of all gymnasts and coaches is not jeopardised in any way, this rule is strictly enforced with no exceptions.

Whilst watching your child, please ensure the etiquette of a respectful viewer is maintained. This includes not feeding your child from the side during the lesson, as well as not vocally coaching, encouraging or supporting your child. Safe gymnastic training relies upon there being no distractions, please take every measure to ensure you are not a distraction. Please be aware that all photography or videography requests must be made to the class leader before the session begins.

Heathrow Gymnastics Club has a zero tolerance policy for abusive or argumentative behaviour of any kind to its staff. It will not be tolerated and will your compromise your child's place at Heathrow Gymnastics Club.
Thank you for you cooperation and understanding.
